This project demonstrates how a custom design can reclaim awkward and irregular backyard spaces, turning them into functional outdoor living areas. We utilized a custom-fitted cedar pergola to fit the deep patio recess perfectly, maximizing every square inch of the existing footprint. The structure features heavy-duty stained wood with black hardware for a robust yet rustic look. A cedar privacy wall provides a cozy sense of seclusion and effective screening from neighboring views. Finally, the SunTuf polycarbonate roof ensures the patio remains usable during unpredictable weather while still allowing natural ambient light to filter through.
